LAVA Volleyball Tryout Day Instructions

We are excited to welcome everyone to LAVA Volleyball Tryouts! Please review the information below to help make check-in and tryouts run smoothly.

Arrival & Check-In

• Players should enter Logan High School through the Clinic Entrance.

• This entrance is located on the side of the building near the football field and has "Clinic" displayed above the door.

• Upon entering, continue to the end of the hallway where you will find the LAVA Check-In Table.

• Players will receive their tryout number and submit any remaining tryout payment at check-in.

Player Warm-Up

• After checking in, players should proceed to the Auxiliary Gym to get ready and begin warming up.

• Please come prepared with appropriate volleyball attire, court shoes, knee pads, water, and any other necessary equipment.

Tryout Process

• When the scheduled tryout session begins, LAVA staff members will escort players from the Auxiliary Gym to the Main Gym for evaluations.

• Players should remain in the Auxiliary Gym until instructed by a LAVA staff member.

Parent Meeting

• While players are participating in tryouts, LAVA Directors will conduct a parent meeting in the Auxiliary Gym.

• Important information regarding the upcoming season, club expectations, tournaments, and team formation will be discussed.

Watching Tryouts

• Following the parent meeting, parents are welcome to enter the Main Gym and observe the remainder of the tryout session.

Exit Information

• At the conclusion of tryouts, all players and parents should exit through the Cafeteria Doors.
